Who can see the questions?
Only people from your academy should be invited, so that you stay private.
I moved to a different academy and would like to continue using DocsDocs!
If DocsDocs is already active at your new academy: Ask one of your fellow
students to invite you. Then you can register a new username with a new
email address. Moving an account is not possible.
If DocsDocs is not yet
active at your new academy: Please contact the team using the 1-Click-
Feedback, then we will take care of it.

The registration and usage of DocsDocs is free of charge. The platform needs
constant updates and servers that have to be paid. Every user, who profits

I would like to change my username or my email address, how can I do that?
This is not possible due to techical reasons. If you dont want to use your
current user/email, just register a new name. For this you will need a new
email address. You can invite the new account yourself while being logged in
with the old one.
What is the question state?
The question state shows if an answer was marked as correct and is correct.
If the answers are not yet complete or if the correct answer has not been
marked as correct by the author, the question state is „incorrect“. As soon
as the correct answer has been mared as „correct“, the question state is
„correct“, i.e. the question is complete. Attention: The question state is
not a personal evaluation, it does not show if you answered the question
correctly.
I would like to select multiple topics for a training.
This has been discussed repeatedly and we decided against it. Normally a
subject should contain no more than 10 topics. This means one topic hold
several hundred questions, so that selecting multiple topics does not make
sense.
I found a solution to a question that doesnt have a solution yet, what
should i do?
Click on comments and type your solution. If possible, supply a link with
proof that your solution is correct. If the question is not yet marked as
'incorrect', do it. The author of the question or a moderator will fix the
problem.
My training is not being saved, I always have to start from the beginning!
Your training will be saved if you use the logout button.
Which hotkeys are available during a training?
Show comments: m, copy question to stash: y x c v, select answers: 1-9 or a-
l, submit: enter, next/previous: arrow keys
Which questions can I edit?
If you didnt create any questions, then you cannot edit any questions.
Starting from a certain amount of created questions, you automatically gain
the state of a 'question moderator', then you can edit all questions. You
can always edit the questions that you created yourself.
How do I create an open question?
You fill in only the first answer and mark it as correct. The system will
automatically detect that this is an open question. If there are multiple
answers for an open question, you have to fill in ALL in the first answer
field! (otherwise it will be a multiple choice question)
What do I do with multiple questions that refer to some case
Enter the complete case text for every question. If somebody is doing a
training in with questions randomized, they need all information thats
necessary to answer the question.
What do I do when there is a multi-select question, i.e. 1,2 and 4 is
correct etc.?
All answer combinations need to go with the question text. In the
answer texts write only the combination possibilities.
Should I include the number of a question?
Yes! If the question has a number, specify it.
What do I do, if multiple answers are correct and the user needs to know how
many are correct?
Type the number of the expected solutions in the question text within
parentheses.
What do I do, if I dont know an answer?
Dont mark any answer as correct. The system will recognize, that no answer
has been supplied.
What do I do, if I dont know the answer to an open question?
Just write a question mark as the only answer and mark it as correct.
How can I delete a question?
Only moderators can delete questions. Moderators can use the edit mode and
click on 'Deactivate'. Please add a comment, that the question needs to be
deleted and mark it as 'incorrect', then a moderator will solve the problem.
How can I create a new topic?
To create a topic, you need to be a 'question moderator'. Select the subject
in the editor and click on 'New topic'. After that, you can assign questions
to that topic.
How can I delete an empty exam?
Thats not necessary. Empty exams will be removed by the system automatically
after some time.
I created some questions, but the question number in the subject selection
doesnt change?
The number of questions in a subject is only updated once every 24 hours.
The question can be selected for training immediately anyways.
How does the stash work?
The stash functions as means of creating your own set of questions. During a
training colored stash symbols are displayed on the right. For example, if
you want to collect questions that you didnt know and repeat them, you can
add them to a stash by clicking the corresponding button. How you use the
stashes, is your choice. The stashes can be shown any time with 'Training ->
Stash'. There you can load your saved questions into a new training.
What happens, when I mark an event as exam?
As soon as the exam is done, all people who marked the corresponding subject
in their settings, will get an email to remember them to add the questions
that they remember.
Search function for questions?
A search function, thats searches question and answer texts of many thousand
questions, is disproportionately costly. We decided against a search
function to ensure that the system always runs smoothly. Often you can use
other functions instead.
Why is there a limit in the stashes?
The limit has techical reasons. An improvement is planned.
When I put a started training into the stash and then load it again, I have
to start from the beginning?
Yes, for the same reasons the stashes have limits. We are working on a
solution.
Can I change my name or my email address or delete my account?
Thats is technically impossible at this moment. Improvement planned.
I would like to randomize the stash.
